Thanks!!!Super impressive lap. Congrats on the record!!
Thanks!!! I actually really enjoyed it. It was my first time driving here even though I lived in NE Ohio for 30yrs as I always heard how diabolical it was in wet conditions and didn't see the appeal (although it was repaved finally a few years ago), but I have a lot more track experience now and my very first laps on the track were wet. If you get the chance to drive it you definitely should - it's challenging in the right ways and flows really well.Hell yea John! That's awesome! How'd you like Mid-O? I mean, obviously you liked the result, but was it *fun*
I need to get laps in in my FK8, but so far Mid Ohio is my favorite track I've driven (Mid-O, NCM, Gateway)Hell yea John! That's awesome! How'd you like Mid-O? I mean, obviously you liked the result, but was it *fun*
I didn't realize it was your first time at Mid Ohio, that makes it even more impressive haha. Thanks!!!

I tried that on my Miata. Seemed OK until I had to make quick changes in direction. Only ran a couple of sessions like that before hooking it back up.and my other change that seems to be working ok (that I hesitated to mention after Midwest until I could drive on it more) is running no front bar.
@MooMoo is going I thinkAnyone going to TNIA Lime Rock this Thursday 7/3? Would be nice to meet up with someone who has been there before. I'm running Intermediate Class for the first time since Novice was booked. I know this isn't the novice thread, just looking to see if any experienced guys are going
Thanks! Yep, first time, I've been missing out!I didn't realize it was your first time at Mid Ohio, that makes it even more impressive haha.
I definitely don't think it's the way to go on a RWD car as they can get super tail happy that way, but with suspension mods it is common to drop the rear bar off for better power delivery, and it also helps avoid inside wheel spin issues on torsens and open diffs.I tried that on my Miata. Seemed OK until I had to make quick changes in direction. Only ran a couple of sessions like that before hooking it back up.
Thank you thank you !!Let's go Antonio, nice work!!
