Thanks guys appreciate it ? He loved the track but just to watch. Went together to IMSA at Mid-Ohio and Detroit, NASCAR at Michigan international, Charlotte, Martinsville, Dover, and Daytona. 2 years back we rented a Boxster T in Las Vegas just to go drive around the desert ? He was always more a bike guy he was still riding around on 50cc mini bikes with his brother last month ? I hope I can do that in my early 70s ?

This is my brother, dad , and I at Mid-Ohio sitting on the hill coming out of Thunder Valley between turn 9 and 10 ?

I know I'm a bit late to this but I'm so sorry for your loss - I lost my dad a few years back, and it's never going to be easy.

I'm glad you got to spend some time together over the years sharing the same interests - it looks like it was a lot of fun.

Ok, next question but this is basically a coin flip IMO:

Conti ECS vs. PS4S? In 275/35/18 for street summer driving (maybe very wet track day). Get the cheaper Conti right? RIGHT?

Based on what I've seen, ECS for sure. I've had track friends wear through the shoulder on the PS4S long before the main tread is low, and I'm not sure it's necessarily better in the wet anyway.

Date code 4322. I was looking at something street-able in the rain. Could this work? I don't normally buy used but this is a decent price. I rarely see stuff like this on FB in my area.

From my experience, you *might* be ok if it's warm, but they aren't good at all in cooler weather with rain. I'd consider those as ok for cheap track tires, but not something I'd get for DD/rain use.

I actually had a favorable opinion of the RT660 on my S2000, but I was running 285 square (you might sense a theme), and as soon as I put them on something else with torque they couldn't put power down at all (and the wet performance didn't help), which seems more in-line with how others feel about them.

Less than three years old, no cracks, punctures etc. I would run them

This is in line with my thought. Seems too similar to my conti ECF. I was just being cheap ? do you sense a theme? ?

285 squared on a S2000? You must had cut and extended fenders.

Nope, just rolled/slight pull (and offset bushings in the front uppers). It's all about the offset.

285/30R18 on 18x10.5 ET65, with 5mm spacers in the front to clear the Stoptechs:

Rex-spec®️ isn't a new thing, just a new thing to the FL5. ?

That setup actually didn't poke, surprisingly ? - the -4° camber helped.
