the two times i've been there, the fastest I went was like a 1:52 (CCW) in my Golf R (coils, tune, 200TW)

Damn that’s 4 seconds faster than I did back in May. Granted it was the first track day with the FL5 and on stock tires. Maybe next year I will get to shave off another second.

Gonna hit up NJMP (lighting) with SCDA tomorrow. Excited since I’ve never been on their track. Only went karting there once.

100TW tires definitely have a lot of stick in them.

I’m not going to run with Mass Tuning until I receive a response from Armin and credit for a track day. Then that will be my last track day with MassTuning. What a shitty person.

It doesn’t matter if it’s 1 person or not. I emailed Elivan from SCDA on Tuesday about NJMP and he responded within 24 hours.

Damn, kinda surprised the rod bearings lasted long enough for the upper engine problems to show themselves!

I'm fairly certain the rods bearings are failing because of the GDI system, and the extended oil change intervals that the manufacturer calls for. Gas in oil and a bunch of carbon fouling leading to oil burning. Poof no oil!

Those Hyundai GDI motor always have so much fuel diluted in the oil.
