Question about transmission fluid: Changing once a season should be fine right? Going with either redline or AC Delco.

I use the AC Delco. You can feel when it needs to be replaced. I believe I exchanged it twice last year.

I am going to do it for peace of mind now, and maybe mid-season next year. I always shift like a grandpa. Factory fluid at the moment is fine but who doesn't like pouring expensive bottles of fluid into their car. Makes me feel better ?

Hahaha. I don't necessarily p-p-p-power shift, but you can certainly tell when the fluid degrades. Same with the factory fluid.

I haven't deleted my delay valve and if I shift before the revs go down I get a grind. I have to wait a split second to shift.

I can feel it when downshifting in second gear. It takes about one second after downshifting and you feel it kick out finally if you will. It will be deleted. Thank you by the way!
