From my own experience that should be fine (I would recommend being prepared with spares though) - those micro cracks usually aren't a problem, just watch for the formation of real cracks - when it gets to this point, you've probably gone too far (reference pictures from my old C5Z06):

If you're looking for something cheap before spending big money I had good luck with the parts store blanks at my last track day. Couldn't stomach the price of Girodiscs. 4 DFC rotors were under $300 total.

When you say Goodyear direct Im guessing you mean the website Goodyear? I just did a quick search and couldn't find any conti ECFs in 275/35/R18. I saw the price if the tires on tire rack and I am a USAA member so that 25% discount actually would be really nice. Im using the Hankook RS4s right now

I have those CGS Pads on right now and I will be going out this weekend. I can already feel a significant difference in feel with them compared the Paragon R3s I had.

Do you know of measurement of when its time to replace the OE or the Gridisodic rotors? I bought a rotor measurement tool so I can start measuring mine

looks brand new. send it all day long, until there is separation cracking at the edges of the rotors.

and there are lots of cheap 1 piece rotors available. I would get a set without the rust coating and send it as well.

Hmm $62 vs a $8 measuring tool? Any idea why yours is nearly 8x the cost ?

This should work for measuring the disc as long as there's not a big lip on the OD (which may skew the measurement), whereas the one linked above would not have that issue, however I would absolutely not buy the plastic one. I did that, not realizing it was plastic, and melted the tips by trying to measure a part I was machining. At least spend the extra money and get stainless. ?

Exactly as Rex mentioned. And since we are talking mm here and likely any used rotor will have a small lip a tool like the one I posted will let you measure the rotor towards the center and not at the lip.

I also have the tool you posted, have had it for a while, its great for a lot of other measurements but I would not use it for measuring rotors. There are tools not as expensive as the one I posted that would allow to do the same thing, they may not be digital though

In my 35 years of driving on track, I’ve never had to replace a rotor due to minimum thickness. They always get cracks that I eventually get nervous about before they get that much wear. This one was drilled, but most were solid. They still crack with enough heat cycling.

Same, I've never once measured rotor thickness in 15yrs of doing various competitive car stuff lol.

I think depends on how much track days you are doing. You fast guys doing a bazillion track days it will be apparent that they are shot. I do 3-6 track days a year so wear will likely be cuz of miles and not just the track days. My old car the rotor was definitely under the thickeness so I replaced it, it still looked totally fine.
