FWIW, I have run the Mountain Pass Performance version of KW V3s on my Tesla since 2019, and I haven't had any issues other than recently I noticed a bump adjuster fell off (easy fix). The car was tracked frequently during the first 2 years of ownership.

I'm at 80000mi now so the shocks probably could use a refresh, but since it's been a DD for the last 75000mi it hasn't been a priority.

I don't have any more-recent experience though (ie, on newer sets), and they were outside of what I was looking for price-wise on the Type R at least starting out - the Clubsports (and V3's) got spendy!

coming from the bike world, a few of the suspension tuners that also run cars advised against KW because they said they can't rebuild them. You are beholden to KW only and whatever they want to charge and their timeframe.

They always said Penske, Ohlins, Bilstein, and I assume JRZ, Moutons, AST would also be serviceable anywhere.

No one is providig incorrect information. A Limited Lifetime Warranty on V3 does not cover track use -- I've seen the communications from KW about it. No one is discussing rebuild service -- I'm speaking critical failure - severed shock bodies.

You can take anyone's recommendation you want. It doesn't impact me -- it's your life. But as this conversation has devolved into throwing sh*t, I'm out.

I look forward to seeing your VIR lap.

Does anyone know what are the pros/cons of purchasing a DSC module like this over a coil over?

What would be the benefit of getting those over just doing the ITS module swap and just getting coilovers?

I know that in +R + VSA Off brake vectoring says on but doing the pedal dance fully disables brake vectoring which kind of limits the car. I never been on a track where +R was too stiff and bouncy but I imagine that thosd modules would help but why not just get the ITS one?

I don't want to get coil overs or go crazy with suspension modifications because I'm still learning the limits of the car and want to get comfortable and familiar before going all in with mods

I'd stick with the factory suspension for now in your case. It's quite good. I will say that my student this weekend had the ITS module and his car didn't bounce nearly as much as mine does, and it felt nice and planted the whole time.

Porsches have had success with a DSC module, even on coilovers. on the MK7 Golf R, it was great, but gave issues and they never seemed to correct them.

the e-clik i believe is similar.

They both allow you to adjust the dampers within their range.

The dual drops oil pressure. I'm waiting to see what Wunderland racing does.
