What are you guys paying for interest?

I have a 2025 CW locked in at $390 over MSRP but they are saying 7.89% is the best they can do on 72 months and I’m putting half down with great credit.

I was thinking 5%, maybe 6% at 84 months.

6% at 84 months isnt happening. ive been seeing credit unions get more aggressive at 72 months in the 5.25-5.99% range, banks are 5.75-6.25% as far as buyrates go

*edit* i missed the part saying good credit with half down. my advice is to talk to YOUR bank and shop around your local C/U’s (most can be joined by opening an account with $1), esp. if you have a VIN to the car youre buying

Does anyone have any leads for a Type at or below MSRP in the Chicago land area?
I got my 2024 from Gerald Honda in Matteson for MSRP, and no dealer installed options or services. No "closing fees" or other nonsense. Tom Hayden was the sales guy. The finance guy was high pressure on the extended warranty as usual, but I kept saying "no thanks" and wrote a $50,457 check.

hahahaha. So sales person was just talking out of her a$$. Now I feel that I got lucky landing 1 at a discount and I literally just started looking on Saturday and made a deal on Monday (Picked up on Tuesday).

That’s too much especially with rates coming. I’d probably wait till mid December.

Take the offer. Then refinance with a credit union. I’ve done this many times. From $50k cars to over $230k cars.

As others have said, go to or call your local credit union. They should be able to get you a loan without an issue. Might be around 5-5.5%?

They came down to 6.9% on 72 months which my bank had a best rate of 7.09% on 60 months. So I just took the 6.9% for now

With the impending facelift in 2026, does anyone forsee a point where the 2025s actually dip below MSRP? I have to assume some will just hold off at a certain point.
