I think you’ll be more than happy with the stock setup. Have fun and be safe ! 👍🏻👊🏻
With that being said I think you’ll really like adding some Spoon Springs I love mine .
so it seems, based on above, that the two "winning" combinations for daily street driving are:
OEM springs + DE5 ADS
Spoon springs + FL5 ADS

I currently have OEM+DE5 and feel that the combination is definitely better than OEM+FL5 for me

with OEM+FL5 +R was not usable for me on street/freeway driving, was way too harsh for my 61 years old back...

though, one thing occurred to me. I swapped the ADS when the car was practically new.

yet now it seems that after 4k miles the car got a bit softer?

or maybe it is just my butt and back that got used to it?

I might try the FL5 ADS and see what it feels like now.

I am very interested in the Spoon springs, though I am a bit concerned about the lowering. as is I scrape on the bottom of my fairly steep driveway unless I am super careful and at the right angle.

If I end up getting the Spoon springs, I will try both FL5 and DE5 ADS with them

I think I had a little over 4000 miles when I had my Spoon Springs installed and think I’m at 4800 now.
Yes for me those are Winning combinations my above post. It’s possible you are getting use to it and it did soften up a Tad maybe.

Thought I’d chime in as another datapoint—I’ve been running Spoon springs and the ITS ADS for roughly 7 months (~9,000 km) now.

Where I live the roads can be pretty atrocious for daily/street use, and so the ITS ADS has certainly helped with that. I also didn’t find the setup compromised when taking the car to track this past summer.

I do think if I lived somewhere the roads were in better shape I’d opt back to the stock ADS on Spoon springs. The ride is otherwise still very enjoyable for my spirited backroad driving and on-track use case—that is to say, I personally don’t think the combination of the Spoon springs and ITS ADS is too soft.

Ultimately, and as others in the thread have mentioned, I feel it just comes down to personal preference, local road conditions, and one’s use case for the car. It’s worth checking out some additional discourse on the topic in this thread.

Another opinion and experience and I respect that👍🏻
For me Spoon Springs with Acura ADS it wasn’t to soft but just felt sloppy in comfort mode on my streets except on the freeway. It squatted really hard on acceleration far more then I like although had a friend say it looked good when he was behind me lol. Again sport was the sweet spot with that setup for my preference.
But yeah if the roads are bad you feel it with both setups imo. With that being said I love the Spoon springs with stock ADS seems to be a perfect balance of feeling the road and getting feedback with my driving experience.

From what I’ve read from other’s experiences, spoon springs with the ITS module makes the ride too soft/sloppy. Therefore, I went with Swifts + ITS module and love it.
I thought about swifts springs but a few reviews said the ride was too harsh with the stock ads . But again everyones needs and wants are different . Also for me Spoons are the perfect drop Oem+ not to aggressive about a 3/4” . You
Might have a nice combo to with the type S module and swift springs to compensate for the stiffer swift springs . It’s so nice we have so many options for our individual needs for this awesome FL5 platform👍🏻👊🏻

Mark me down as someone on stock springs and 19" wheels where I prefer the factory FL5 ADS module. I tried the DE5 one for a few months but ultimately felt like it compromised the sharpness of the car in the softer modes.

Complete opposite for me loved it on the stock Springs felt Less edgy and overly excited especially in R mode felt like I was Riding on the rims way to stiff with type R ADS . The type s ADS made it feel like it took that edge away with stock Springs almost like laying a blanket of velvet on the road but still nice feed back. The Spoon Springs didn’t like it though as I mentioned you can feel Spoon designed and tested their springs with the stock ADS for sure .Stock suspension with stock ADS felt way over dampened to me in all modes .

Honestly I feel after 30,000 km the FL5s suspension is significantly more compliant. As if it was breaking in.
That’s awesome and good to hear 👍🏻
