I am interested in getting the SRP pedals for my FL5 because I want to heel n toe better on track instead of letting the computer do it.

Now the question is, there's no clear installation video or instructions on how it do it, it seems like the clutch/brake pedal would be easy however people are mentioning you gonna drill for the gas pedal? Drill where? what? isn't it pre-drilled? Someone please inform me the details regarding this!

There are instructions on their site, they are pretty straight forward. The pedals will come with instructions, they are almost the same as the ones linked below.

The OEM brake and clutch pedals have covers you can easily remove and have holes already underneath to use with the SRP pedals and the supplied hardware.

The Civic/FL5 gas pedal's silver piece is a cover, you can either remove it or leave it on when you drill. I took the cover off for mine. I also uninstalled the pedal to make drilling and installing the SRP pedal easier. Not needed, but I also got an extra pedal off eBay in case I wanted to revert back to OEM.

Ah, thank you for the response, I’m a bit nervous about drilling into the OEM pedal…. I will have to think about this a little bit more.

You're welcome, drilling isn't too hard, but that's partially why I also got a used pedal for like $40 on eBay. Also did a quick search and found this video posted on the forum.

I installed the Acuity pedal relocator, using position "C" which made heel toe shifting perfect for me.

I like the SRP pedals, but I wonder if the SRP accelerator pedal with its protruding portion will fit without getting too close to the brake pedal...
It makes it closer, but haven’t had an issue with it yet. I’m sure with the Acuity pedal spacer you won’t have a problem if want to run both.

Have you got a part number for the pedal? I'd actually like to buy one to experiment on.

I want it to be heavier, as it is when I'm not using cruise control for long durations, my shin starts to ache from holding my foot up off the pedal.

Should be 17800-T20-L01, I believe its the same part across all the trims and platforms.

Nice, hopefully it was one of the cheap ones on eBay. I saw one for around $46-47.
Yup! I just want to take it apart and play around with it without having the car down.

We'll see if I can find a McMaster Carr SKU that gives it like a 50% boost or whatever.
