This guy named Mat out of Poland makes these, and they look great—I got one for my DE5, and now have one in my FL5: https://www.etsy.com/listing/151103...075030711941e39cfdbda9fd1620250e53:1511031971Anyone know of a good footrest cover?
I’m around 3000 miles or so and am starting to see that area get dirty. I have the high wall mats but they don’t cover it. I’ve seen the carpet ones on YouTube but seems like a Japan only thing.
I’m not super concerned, personally. The carpet is cleanable. But…like the OP, if there’s a simple and nice looking solution that saves me time and energy later, I’m in.Part of the wear and tear. : )
I’ve seen that. It doesn’t protect the red carpet though. That’s the thing the OP is looking for (and I’d be interested in too). This guy named Mat out of Poland makes these, and they look great—I got one for my DE5, and now have one in my FL5: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1511031971/footrest-for-honda-civic-type-r-2023-fl5?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=type+r+dead+pedal&ref=sc_gallery-1-2&edd=1&sts=1&plkey=607975075030711941e39cfdbda9fd1620250e53:1511031971
They attach using heavy duty tape (included) and can even be applied on top of TuxMats.
It’s technically the FD2 logo, but I’m not stressing the difference in this application. I’m designing some custom pieces for my FL5 and was almost convinced I was the only one stressing the subtle differences between each of the logos.I’ve seen that. I’m picky and don’t like that the Type R logo isn’t correct on the Etsy foot rest, but it is a cool looking piece.
