Wild. We have a family cabin in Gettysburg.

Much snow here. We have a little from the storm but the roads aren't bad. I will probably not have to drive the FL5 in the snow since I work from home.

That is wild! My family celebrates Thanksgiving/Christmas all at once early in December so we don't take them away from their significant others during the actual holidays. We recent a place in Wintergreen, VA.

I'll be driving out there this spring/summer to visit some battlefields and Monticello as well as find some driving roads.

It certainly isn't too soft. I run AS tires and the change from one AS to another is more noticable. (DWOS6+ vs Pirelli P Zero AS+ 3?)
Pirelli runs true to size. DWS06+ runs narrow and would need a 275 for similar width as OEM track.

Both tires are similar, but the Pirelli is a bit newer in tech and according to Tire Rack has an edge in the wet.

I have Spoon springs and the ITS module. I've always run Individual mode with suspension in comfort, but I now have to put that particular setting in sport so that I don't scrape on certain speed bumps and parking lot exits. I might end up returning to stock ADS module and selling my ITS module.

Hey there, any update on this or someone else...I'm thinking of going with the type S module on spoons?

I haven't gotten around to putting the TypeR module back in. I will say that the ITS module on Spoon springs is perfect as a daily.

I ended up swapping back to the ctr module. Felt the ITS module made it too soft/bouncy with the spoon springs

Just going to echo what was said above in that I don’t find the combo too soft myself. Perfect for a daily driver use case if you find yourself on some bumpy roads more occasionally than not.

I am going to be getting spoon springs soon. I recently changed to a 275/35R18 tires on +40 wheel set up. I also have the Type S ADS module which I have had for a few months.

The tire is a Advan Apex v601

I was unhappy with the change in the driving characteristics of the car. It felt way to soft and floaty for my preferences. Steering also felt more numb. I have had 20mm spacers on the car for quite some time so nothing was due to moving to the +40 offset.

I recently went back to the Type R ADS and the stiffness is perfect. The drama is there when I want it in +R mode but not nearly as bumpy when on the 265/30r19's. The +R mode is very usable with the 275/35r18 tire.

I just hope the addition of the Spoon springs doesnt take any more edge away from the dampening and steering.

Just thought I would chime in.
I’ve been running the type S ADS on stock springs for about 2 months and been very happy with it. Yesterday I had my Spoon springs installed and I’m very very happy with this combo . It’s early on but feel no need to switch back to the stock ADS as of now. I’m loving these Spoon Springs to . Other than just a little spirited driving I love the feeling and feed back. In a few weeks I’ll be heading out to the canyons after I get the alignment and I’ll post back here but I have a feeling this setup will be perfect . At the shop right after the install but she should settle a little more “and has”??
