Installed the lip over the weekend by removing the bumper. Definitely looked like it would have been a real chore to do with the bumper in place. I did break one of the clips under the headlights as those were more difficult to release than I had expected, but doesn't seem to be affecting things after being reassembled.

For anyone still waiting to install their Project Aero lip I'm putting together a hardware kit with the parts I personally used. I was not satisfied with the provided hardware so I sourced my own. The fasteners I used makes the job WAY easier and doesn't require removing the front bumper.

Agree. I ended up just removing the bumper which made the install 10x easier.

Anyone struggling or planning on installing the Project Aero front lip should consider purchasing my upgraded hardware kit I put together. I've sent a few kits out already and have a bunch of other FL5 products in the works!

It makes the install much easier and quality stainless steel instead of their zinc plated stuff

I’ve had this lip for a few months and have scraped it a few times. I can confirm they’re designed to take a beating. All the scraping happens underneath so you can’t see any of the scratches anyway. Hasn’t gotten loose at all, too.

Thats great. I have a set sitting in my garage lol. Looks good with the SS wheels. Im probably going to do the bronze set with the project aero splitter. Thank you!
