Torque steer isn't bad at all, especially on the OEM setup. I have the Phearable S2/93 and it's really great. I put it on at about 5k and I'm at 9k now no issues. I also have a PRL intake, great combo. I didn't get pops added to my tune as I'm not a 20 year old who owns a 2012 Audi S4.I guess my first question is how bad is the torque steer in this car really? I plan on getting the Phearable stage 2 tune with prolly just an intake and maybe an intercooler. Is 1-2nd gear like essentially useless in this car with the torque steer lol.
Also, for anyone else running the Pherable tune: how many miles have you had it? Did anyone track theirs without an intercooler? Did the stock cooling system do well on the track even with the tune? Is the Pherable tune considered fairly reliable with the ITS bangs?
The Hondata traction control is very good, with 4 levels and a Valet mode plus if cruise is on then it's back at OEM so really like 5 modes kinda. The oem TC is ok but does allow for some slip. The Hondata is much more consistent across all options (Street 1, Street 2, Race 1, Race 2). I normally use Street 2 in the summer (very little slip allowed) for DD, and Street 1 if it's cold out. Race 3 if I'm out on a dedicated drive to have fun, and Race 4 is too much slip for the street I think, you would want to really heat up tires before going for R4.
The Acuity shifter is a really nice and pretty easy upgrade. S2000-like shift feel. Get a set of TuxMats if you are driving in the spring/fall. The red carpet shows dirt/wear pretty quickly. If you aren't getting an exhaust the fuse pull trick to put it all through the flow through the middle muffler, once the baffle wears in it's actually got a nice tone imo.
