Does Honda sell OEM disc rings for the 2piece brakes? I did a google and saw Paragon sells rings for OEM hats but didn’t see any OEM rings

They sell the whole thing from what I have seen. They are also more affordable than the aftermarket discs.

They don't, only the whole thing. Paragon rings are the way to go, they also ventilate better. But these OEM rotors should last a lot, they are really good.

With my track car (FD RX7), I keep a spare set of pads and rotors for track days but those rotors are also dirt cheap. Looks like that may not be best option here and that I should just swap pads. I’ve always heard pads should be mated to rotors when possible.

But it’s silly Honda makes a 2 piece but then doesn’t sell the rings separately from the hats.

Looked at rockauto and they sell 1 piece for cheap but they are drilled. I hate drilled rotors for track use.

I also keep separate rotors/pads for track use. The cheapest non-drilled option I could find was dba slotted rotors. About $200 shipped each if you shop around. Part # is DBA43700S

Great. Thanks for the recommendation. Ideally I’d love to just have rings I can replace vs pulling off the hat too. Those DBA aren’t far off from the Paragon rings. Too bad rock auto doesn’t have a front blank.

Swapping rings back and forth will get old very, very quickly...
You're better off having a spare set of 2pc rotors (complete with hat) mated to a track capable set of pads for track purposes.

yeh. I was kinda wondering if all the clips of the two piece was more hassle than just have a second set. I don’t see OEM anywhere for sale on Honda parts stores online.

It appears to only be available as a complete unit as others here have mentioned.

Thanks. When I went to online parts shops and entered my model (FL5) it had no diagrams for parts other than accessories.
