My FL5 was broken into

Man sorry that happened, those people that broke into your car are some real garbage and no one deserves to have their car treated like that. I got this obd lockout from Vargas after watching a tommyg youtube video that demonstrated how easy it could be for someone to start almost any car just with access to the obd port: https://vargasturbo.com/product/vtt-obd-lock-odb-port-locking-tool/
I'm sure it's not infallible but the layer of security gives me a little extra comfort.

Edit: Other obd port lockouts would work too, I chose this one to hopefully make it less likely that thieves would have some common key type that they might just find off of amazon or something

I would install a shock sensor also. This way anytime someone or something hits your car, your alarm will sound. This protects your rims especially. I have it on mine.

I wonder what they were looking for. Steal your registration and insurance info for identity theft purposes? Looking for a wheel lock key?

I work at a university. A campus police officer told me stories of students leaving their titles in the glove box, which thieves look for to forge a transfer.

Does the VTT OBD lock fit our cars OBD port well or did you have to modify it to fit?
