Hey everyone! So after about 100 miles of driving and 5 or so key cycles, my long term fuel trims have gone from -0.78 to -6.2. I called k&n and they said this is due to the increased flow and as long as there is no check engine light, then I don't need to worry. Super curious where everyone else's LTFT has settled while using the k&n intake.

Is the K&N air filter oiled or dry? Typically - LTFT or STFT is taking away fuel and + is adding fuel. Typically anything over +/- 10 is where you start running into problems. This is just from my basic overtime knowledge with reading log files.

The filter is oiled. It's not a contaminated MAF sensor though as my LTFT has gone back to +-1.6 with the PRL HVI. It's the MAF scaling of the intake tube itself causing the lower LTFT.

Are you on a stock tune?

I need to do some logging. I have the K&N intake, Infinity Design carbon turbo intake tube, PLM front pipe, and 3" exhaust. And the 93 octane basemap tune. I have zero issues or CELs and get better gas mileage, and it certainly rips.

It's not off enough to throw a cel or cause driveability issues as far as I understand. It's just not as well engineered compared to the PRL HVI with LTFT at +-2
