Which Eibach kit did you go with?
Hi! Went with the Pro kit since I wanted a modest drop. It does have stiffer spring rates than the factory ones which should help at the track but not as aggressive as the sport line. I eventually plan to go coils but for now the stock shocks will do.

It rides almost as good as stock, just slightly stiffer on big bumps on the road with the suspension in comfort mode. In R+ mode you can tell its a lot stiffer and more planted when doing transitions. Tested it on a back road yesterday where I usually try new mods and it feels very well balanced, on a choppy part of the road I did feel a lot of bouncing around just like the stock springs on R+. But the compression felt better. Less like a pogo stick, it appears the mild increase in stiffness is slowing down the compression.

Coilovers is the way to go 100% but figured I would try it for science, and to see if the stock shocks could be improved on with a slightly stiffer rate. While also improving looks lol.

Hey, with the front wheel arch being higher than the back, how many inches did it drop from the fender to wheels (front and back)? Do you have a side shot of it? I prefer the Pro Kit too but haven’t seen any using it aotm. Thanks!

So I don’t have a stock measurement, but here is how it sits with measurements. First 2 are front the other 2 are back. Fenders are less than 1” from tire edge on both front and back. And the measurements from floor to fender arch are actually lower in the front than in the back.

Based on the pics, I can say that: Front is 25 3/8” and Back is 25.5” from ground to fender approx. Though with the design of FL5 front wheel arch bigger/higher than the back, the gap from wheel to fender in front is slightly higher than the back. But technically front still sits lower from the ground.

Thank you so much for the pics, clarified my doubts! Nice build btw. ?

I'm just jealous that you're receiving aftermarket parts to install! I've been waiting and waiting for some of the stuff that I ordered to arrive!

Yes exactly that! It does even out the look a bit more but still due to the fender size discrepancies it will never be perfect.

And thank you!

What stuff do you have on order? And also why the long wait time? Did you order from overseas?

Yes, I ordered from GB. I've got a set of brake lines and an HEL oil cooler coming from Dream Automotive. HEL made some revisions to their kit, which caused a long delay. I just received shipping confirmation today. I can't install the AP Racing BBK or any of my track pads until the lines arrive. I also have center caps on order for my Volks that have been on order for at least 2 months. I won't be putting the wheels on until I receive the center caps.

Yeah those parts from overseas take a long time. Plus you went with exotic parts which will just make it worse. But excited to see what you do with it. All my parts have been ordered state side so barely any wait time and simple mods too. Nothing as big as oil coolers or nice brake kits. I want the Hella oil cooler. Which will be my next purchase after the Hondata software and downpipe install.

Looks nice. I’m torn about the body color paint. Essentially it would be the same as the CR wing on my S2000. Looks good nonetheless.

Will post some more pictures later. I think it really makes the car look better. Was not a fan of the all black wing.
