I live at Texas true reading isn’t enough 🤣!

Nop I live towards central Texas, when I go to DFW is always on my wife SUV a Ford Edge ST that also had a stiff suspension there are areas that are really bad, but I’m originally from Puerto Rico I don’t think any roads here will be as bad as the roads there 😂 probably that’s why I’m insensitive to bad roads because I really been to some bad ones 😂.

I will try it if I don’t like it I go back to stock I really like the car however it feels now. I’m going to try and go from there.

You guys have those nice flat backroads in some areas. We got kiddie pool sized potholes and washboard roads😂. I've gotten pulled over driving into my neighborhood dodging potholes because the cop thought I was drunk. 😂

The insert is on the car, and I have probably put 50 miles on it by now. I don’t hear any weird noises in the cabin—maybe a little more vibration, but it’s rarely noticeable. I can feel the shift now, which reminds me of when I drove an S2000, though of course it’s not quite the same. To me, that’s one of the best manual transmissions I’ve driven so far, and the FL5 feels somewhat similar. I guess if I installed the Acuity shifter cage, I’d be able to dial it in really close, but overall, I’m really happy with the results so far.

How’s the PowerFlex insert been after a couple weeks now? Still happy with it?

my biggest gripe is the NVH when the car first turns on with AC. If that’s minimal with the insert, it’s a strong selling point for me.

I really don’t even notice it now that it’s “broken in.” At first, there was a slight vibration, but now it feels pretty stock—just not too aggressive. I’m at 1,560 miles. I can report that, with the AC and heater on, cruising at 75–80 mph, both upshifts and downshifts at an aggressive pace It feels direct.

That’s really good feedback, thank you. I guess for $40 and an hour of time for install, it worth at least giving it a shot.

Exactly one tip: I put some dielectric grease on both sides when installing it. I have that for the intercooler hoses, but that a pry bar and a rubber mallet will have in less than an hour jacking up the car is the damn problem 😂.
