It's free & included - for the new R you do not need to use a standalone app but can if desired.

If you have a Pixel 6 phone, you can do live translation on the device once you download offline Japanese language pack. It's not the most accurate but gives you a good idea of what they're talking about. Some sentences are weird. Like talking about "how much you jerk" and something about clutch meat.

"Clutch mete" comes from "to mete" as in letting something happen in a measured and controlled way. Log R gives you scores based on how smooth you drive.

The driver in the video is the guy who drove in the Suzuka lap record video, according to their comments.

I'm curious to see how the Auto Scoring works. I'm just nerdy enough when it comes to driving that I might enjoy that as much as driving for thrills.
