Hybrid Racing Shifter Cable Bushings

One of the mods I’m enjoying quite a lot is the Hybrid Racing shifter cable bushing.

While the battery was out I decided to tackle it and yes while I could have taken the intake off, I felt lazy and I am famed for having small hands so I can work around things with ease ?

This really makes the shifter more stable while the gears are a lot smoother than before, pair with a nice gearbox oil swap and you have a car shifting better than when it was new.

I used Honda MTF III for now.

I do want to try Liquimoly TopTec5200 MTF next time but I’ve got quite a bit of MTF III left so not sure yet.

NGL, the Hybrid install guide turned me off of this upgrade because of how much they said you had to remove. If all you did was remove the battery, then I can deal with that.

If you need to pull the intake (or it would be easier if you did) - don't be afraid, it's a whopping 4 bolts plus a hose clamp and then it lifts right out. 5 mins tops in or out, I was shocked at how easy it was.

I think if you remove the intake (remove two bolts and a clamp) then you’ll have way more space to work with.
