Is there any news, has anyone tried to fix the sound?

ive heard multiple accounts of this going away after changing transmission fluid. i have not yet changed mine but im sure that this is correct as every report of this sound including my own is strictly tied to forward motion

I’ll be ordering transmission oil in the next few days. I’ve been looking at other posts, and I’ve decided to go with Red Line MTL 75W80. I hope it’s a good choice. It’s the most accessible one where I live.

i will be going with amsoil severe gear 75w90 because i want something a little heavier, its warm out here

honda branded stock mtf is 75w80 though can't go wrong with that especially if its cold

Been dealing with this since I got the car, changed the fluids today and the noise is gone.
Dealer confirmed it was under filled from factory smh

Did you put the original Honda transmission oil, or did you decide to go with some aftermarket oil?

And thank you so, so much for the feedback.

Thank you, I was thinking of ordering Redline 75w80, but now I’ve ordered the original honda mtf, and as soon as the rain stops I’ll replace it. I’ll get back with updates💪

Just to share an update: today I changed the oil, and my gearbox was missing 0.5 liters of oil. After the oil change, the noise completely disappeared. Thank you all for your help.

Wishing everyone all the best in the New Year — cheers to all of us! 🍻
