the exhaust valve fuse keeps the valve controller open at all times on the catback, the piped in sound in cabin you can change by using individual mode and engine sound set to comfort
engine on +r, steering on +r, etc
suspension, up to you but i prefer comfort for daily and sport for rolls
but...
yea ive heard some of the resonator deletes in person they sound pretty good with the fuse pulled and downpipe frontpipe, i know this is a pretty popular option because of this
i strongly urge you to track your own mileage rather than using the MM
the MM is a digital approximation that in no way accounts for the facts of content in your oil
yea its challenging, you may want to consider downpipe frontpipe and unplugging exhaust valve fuse and see how you like that.
outside of that the only two exhaust systems in my opinion that come anywhere close to what you are describing are the Borla Atak and HKS legamax/hipower
if you are on 5700 with the factory fill you should change your oil immedaitely
highest instance of wear metals incurred within the motor is during the first 10k miles of the life of the engine but particularly within the first 500 miles of the life of the engine.

go check out woodland hills honda in SFV LA, the floor manager there is ready to sell FL5s for low or no markup
of course they may or may not have one right now though.
if you balance the wheels you can detect whether a wheel was bent during those impacts, those seemed pretty hard i would definitely check front end components arms joints / suspension / wheels tires etc
i had a big front end hit similar to this that resulted in a bent front left wheel with no...
i pulled the trigger and the fitment is really really good. no camber.
bronze te37 saga s plus 18x10 +40, im in cali so i went with 275/35 ps4s again

update:
this has been fixed.
factor 1: failed flash transfer
factor 1 follow up: I called hondata support and asked about this interaction, in this case since I had received the advice to simply leave the ignition on and simply reflash the ecu which had worked, per hondata support the...
i will be going with amsoil severe gear 75w90 because i want something a little heavier, its warm out here
honda branded stock mtf is 75w80 though can't go wrong with that especially if its cold
ive heard multiple accounts of this going away after changing transmission fluid. i have not yet changed mine but im sure that this is correct as every report of this sound including my own is strictly tied to forward motion
sup everyone, I recently made the mistake of comitting a custom tune to flash with a brand new laptop that had not yet had power and sleep settings configured, the laptop went to sleep and interrupted the transfer. I was successful in uploading the tune afterwards under the condition that i did...
correct i have the same observation, it is connected to the throttle. no throttle = no motion = no noise
I was checking this out again recently, this obviously does not provide any actual root cause analysis but a long time FK8 owner said he'd been hearing this same noise for years with no...
for anyone wondering there is another thread that contains an audible recording for this groan sound
https://www.civicxi.com/forum/threads/honda-civic-type-r-fl5-weird-noise-when-turning.61383/
i am going to be looking closer into this and will follow up as soon as i can for reference
