Just to share an update: today I changed the oil, and my gearbox was missing 0.5 liters of oil. After the oil change, the noise completely disappeared. Thank you all for your help. Wishing everyone all the best in the New Year — cheers to all of us! 🍻

Did you put the original Honda transmission oil, or did you decide to go with some aftermarket oil? And thank you so, so much for the feedback.

I’ll be ordering transmission oil in the next few days. I’ve been looking at other posts, and I’ve decided to go with Red Line MTL 75W80. I hope it’s a good choice. It’s the most accessible one where I live.
