LOL! I’m not sure why you’re reposting this in response to my post. I’m talking about something I had read like 4-6 months ago. Someone tested some of the original oil that was still relatively new…maybe 1000 miles or less on it. Jogging my memory, I think they also analyzed the original filter. Anyway…

Dude…you’re not making any sense. I understand you’re getting your well-used oil tested. What does this have to do with what I said…unless you believe your well-used oil will test the same as original oil that is practically new???? I honestly don’t understand what you’re getting at.?‍♂

Read my posts. VERY RARELY do I take offense to anything nor get snarky toward anyone. I’m honestly confused and don’t understand your vagueness with me.

On direct injection...I ain't waitin'. I change my oil OFTEN. My engine has 3200 miles on it and I've changed the oil 3 times already. Keep in mind I track the car quite a bit. If I wasn't tracking I still would have changed it at least once already.

I agree with this. In my opinion, others may think differently but I think vehicles with turbos should be change more frequently especially if the car is driven harder. Why do you want dirty oil circulating through turbo especially if you have a nice aftermarket one.

You have an oil filter for a reason. If it is so clogged that the bypass opens you are already cooked anyways.
