Heys Guys,

I'm on the fence about which camber kit to buy. I'm trying to avoid adding NVH to my car. When I reached out to a friend last week, he had convinced me that MDR is a great option. However, I'm worried about the NVH. Alternatively, I've been looking at MR/HR hard rubber arms. I'd love to hear some feedback/reviews about what setups you guys are running.

  • I've read the actual camber arms (spc/eibach) are a PITA to install. Purchasing RV6/MDR arms would be a simpler solution.
  • I'm not sure where I read it, but others testify to a reduction in NVH w/ spherical, can anyone confirm this?
  • Has anyone made the jump from one to the other, hard rubber to spherical or vice versa?

I have the hardrace spherical rear toe arms - which allow me to adjust rear camber.

no noticeable NVH coming from the spherical toe arms...
but to be fair, I also had a Hasport rear motor mount installed at the same time and that MFer makes the whole car vibrate like crazy ?

I have the RV6 rear arms and can say they didn't add noise for me. However, they have made the ride unbearable for all of my passengers.

Every person who has ridden in my car has complained since I installed them. They say that it is too rough and they feel like their insides are being rearranged.

I do notice the ride quality has deteriorated, but I am not looking to change the arms anytime soon. If I do, I might just look for adjustable arms with rubber bushings.

Avoid any camber kit that uses sperical bearings, so brands like SPC, Hardrace(OEM supplier for Spoon), Sirimoto are all good choices

What Aspec said.. NVH comes from the material used. Rubber bushing will be the least amount of NVH because it is soft then polyurethane.. then you go up to spherical which has no play, straight up metal to metal contact.
