I believe they said around April 2026. If it’s sooner than even better to be honest. I need an oil change as well. Got a $10 oil change voucher in the mail.

To be real with you. I swapped the de5’s oil with amsoil 5/30 and a wix xp filter. Car feels…. Identical 😂
0w-20 is just for emissions/economy tbh. But if they make a 0w-20 oil that can retain its viscosity at a higher temperature and retain protection I don’t really see the point of switching at the moment since it’s getting cold. Low 40s in the night and morning in rainy Southern California

i try to do my own maintenance but didn't want to deal with bleeding brakes and not sure if I wanted to remove the slave cylinder to grease the ball properly. might have to bleed it...plus the techs might known a quick and easy way to do it.

Colorado winters aren’t too gnarly. Won’t challenge 5 weight any at least.

only 0w20 that I know of that can perform like that is vw508 certified oil. It’s a green color too. Crazy stuff. I’m sure there’s a few others but vw508 is the only one I know of.

One of you needs to tell someone else how to spend their money on their JDM FWD GT3 real quick!

I think it’s because we already subconsciously know the base stock won’t even be as good as liquimoly or motul

(threw the first stone)
