I will have to wait to watch but not surprised if the FL5 takes the cake seeing that Mark has one.
Also lets be honest for 10k more it better be better.
It was based on lap times and then everything else. Everyone with DCT wanted to see the comparison, which I was very interested in.

I wouldn’t be surprised at all if the DCT is faster, including around a road course. Hyundai built a hell of a performance bargain! If I could get over the looks I would’ve gotten one.

Excited to watch it when it hits youtube.

As much as people like to punch down on the Korean's I honestly think the Elantra N and Forte GT are 2 of the most fun cars per dollar you can buy off the lot.

I have a fair bit of experience with the Hyundai and Kia brands. The Elantra N may win this, but this is just one track day. Let's whittle it down to the tortoise and the hare. We may be the tortoise in this case, but from an overall longevity standpoint, I'd take the Civic every day.

Random data point, on same tires (mine is actually skinner at 235...I am cheap) at the glen, both cars with just front camber increase, fl5 is seven tenth faster than n. Both videos on YouTube if curious.

Different drivers, but talent I would say is similar enough ...

A stock power DCT EN with camber bolts and 245 RE71RS did a 2:12.94 at the Glen.

Was your time faster?

I obviously don't care about most power for money I owned several Si over the years. I'm a Honda fan and always will be. I never cross shopped the N. Or the Kia people haulers when I bought our Odyssey either. These comparisons crack me up because this is always more than a numbers game.
