Cant speak for other intakes, but i definitely hear my PRL intake even with the windows up. And with the windows down its quite loud (in a good way!)

There have been clips floating around of PRL doing some CARB testing for their intake and intercooler, so it could possibly be CARB-certified in the near future.

??? The intake and bov are out in the engine bay and you’re sealed up inside of the car. Of course it’s not going to be as loud to IPhone microphone.

Still, with the windows up, there is a HUGE difference in sound with an aftermarket intake installed versus OEM intake, in BOV and spool sounds.

Find someone local with an intake installed and go for a ride in their car. You’ll order an intake shortly after because you’ll love the sound. I have 0 doubt. Intakes make the car so much more fun to drive and makes the FL5 actually sound like a sports car.

I just looked it up. Looks like it's 71008-KH012V for the bundle and 71002-AH004 for just the suction kit. Guess I'll need to order a suction kit now.

Yeah that sucks, they did the same thing when they released it for the FK8… but i don’t think i’ll need the recirc kit as i can use the one from the FK8 which i still have, just have to mod the hose to fit the shorter distance on the FL5. I’ll see which sounds better. I also have the purple fin to play around with sound.
