Experiences with FK8TD tuning?

Hi All,

I wanted to see if anybody could share their experience with John from FK8TD. I am trying to select a tuner.

What mods did he perform for you? Has your build help up? Meet your power goal? How was the communication? Any issues?

Any input would be great. He seems like one of the great tuners but just curious about other people's experience.

No harm in inquiring here; however, you'd have better luck on CivicX since the FK8 has been out much longer and there are far more in circulation. 4PR has (last I checked anyway) a pretty good relationship with John so they may provide a good data point as well.

You can also check out Jester04 on these forums. You can read lots of good feedback from members here and Jester04 has written lots about tuning his own car. I’m planning on using him when I am ready to tune my car.

Admittedly, I am new to forums! I guess I was looking for any input from guys with FK8, FL5, DE5 that have worked with FK8TD, since the platforms are pretty similar.

Appreciate any feedback on FK8TD.

pretty sure FK8TD had a issue tuning an FL5 it’s all over YouTube. which prompted me to use someone that’s here in the Tampa, Florida area. Javier aka jester tuned is another great choice he’s helpful and responsive.

I'd recommend @Jester04 for your tuning needs. He's relatively local, has tuned quite a few FL5s and has great feedback from his client base.
