I really like it...It was one of the first upgrades starting on the intake side of the house. I like that it (1) is a high-quality one piece carbon fiber unit, (2) is a lightweight replacement for the OEM heat sink and (3) offers the largest internal ID compared to other aftermarket options available.Looks good to me, for what it's worth.
Question is:
How cool is it?
Have you taken temps driving around before and after wrapping the pipe?
How and where does one go about accurately and consistently recording such data?
I did not take temps before/after install or wrapping with reflective tape. Way too many variables that would be misleading IMHO. In reality, the thermal heat transfer of air running through the inlet would be minimal in the grand scheme of things. I decided to wrap it simply to reflect heat away from the part when there is airflow.
