Does Honda Really Use a Break-In oil?

Saw an oil analysis (almost virgin) of the stock fill oil on bob is the oil guy. I knew right then and there I was gonna break in for 1k miles and dump that oil for something better.

nothing special about the factory fill oil bro. In fact it’s barely better than the bottled oil U can get from the dealer.

the factory oil base is idemitsu. It’s not bad oil. There’s just so many better options + that 0w20 stuff is fucked. I went for amsoil signature series 5w30 myself.

gonna start stretching. In case someone here wants to fight over oil filters 😂

Dumb question, as i am new at this. What does it mean when you guys said, 15% or 60%, etc.? How and where do i get that number?

Found it. Thank you!! Last Civic i had was the 1999 SI(EM1). Sold that 16 years ago(and regretting it everyday). So out of touch with Honda's tech...lol.
