did you regret your wheels and suspension? if so, what did you get so i can avoid
I purchased some 18" Apex EC-7 wheels (OEM+ in the fitment guide) to keep me in stock class for SCCA autocrossing, but I'm planning on installing a bunch of mods this spring that will kick me out of stock. I've already bought a second set of 18" Apex VS-5RS wheels (Performance Street and Track Wheel Fitment), that I really love as my track wheels, to put my autocross tires on. Not sure I'm going to use a three wheel/tire set rotation (street/autocross/track) set up or will run my autocross tires most of the time and switch to track set up when a track event comes around, and just sell the EC-7 wheels.

i have 4 sets of wheels for this car. The OEM with summers, a set of 18's with All-season, one set for HPDE and now 1 set for Time Attack. This is just what happens with this car, you become a collector of wheels lol

Only mod I did was the PRL RMM. Had it on for roughly 5 thousand miles and just recently put the stock one back on. It was a rather pleasant experience turning on the car with the stock mount and driving around, makes it feel like the engine isn't even running. I'll end up just keeping car stock for now.

Radium catch cans for me....and their coolant overflow. Basically everything Radium offers.
Have you considered the PRL large capacity coolant tank? You aren't the first person I've seen say that about the Radium coolant overflow.

That’s probably the only prl part that I'd consider buying. Got my eye on wonderlund racing tank however it's never in stock.

Yeah I've seen people say not good things about PRL which is surprised me. Because I see alot of people recommend their products and say especially the intercooler, and intake. They always say that its the best.

Im still relatively new to the Honda world so I don't know much about street cred for brands so this is a really good post for me.

I think I'd wait for the Wunderland racing one at this point.

i installed these scuff plates and they rub a tiny bit on the underside of the doors creating annoying sounds on rough roads. I want to remove them but the adhesive is so strong....

The AWE Touring Exhaust on my FL5 was a big regret.
I’ve had the AWE Touring on my FK8 for about 35,000 miles and three years now. The drone was so bad at first that I almost reverted to the stock exhaust immediately. I reached out to AWE and was told that the issue was unlikely, leaving me feeling dismissed. The sound mellowed out after a few thousand miles, but it still behaves inconsistently. Some days it’s loud and drones, while other days it’s more mellow and sounds great.

Additionally, there are several other issues I’ve noticed:
  1. The slip-fit design seems like a cost-cutting measure; at the asking price, V-Band clamps would have been a better choice.
  2. The muffler exits through only one tailpipe, leaving the other two as non-functional aesthetics. This is evident from the soot buildup on just the middle pipe.
  3. The black tips are of poor quality, showing significant wear after a few thousand miles. I ended up switching to polished tips.
Overall, I wouldn’t purchase this exhaust again. If I were to buy a new exhaust, I’d probably try the 27Won instead.

I was looking at the awe exhaust as my first option, but ended up going with a remark dual tip. The quality over the awe is night and day, and drone is very minimal. Here’s a close up of the welds. It’s similarly priced to the awe and just so much better

I love these mods I did

PRL RMM
RV6 rear sway bar, middle setting

The front end feels so direct now, and the roll stiffness is so much greater now, basically no body roll anyone on the touge. This is how the car should have came.

I also got a etune by @Jester04. Car pulls like a friggin freight train now, and I know its a safe conservative tune as well.

Also, did a bull boost catch can, the same one for the FK8, on the pcv side. it does catch oil. just a small peace of mind.

as i said in another thread, no they do not. that poll is a popularity contest, more accurately a “what exhaust do you have,” and since not everyone who voted has heard every single exhaust, that poll is erroneous. AWE was also one of the first to market. definitely doesnt mean best.
I believe it's one of if not the cheapest too..
