BRAKE!!! Every time I deselect this option, it automatically turns back on when I start the car again. Is there a way to fix this? It’s quite annoying when driving aggressively, it pops up whenever you get close to another car. (first option stays deselected, idk what’s with collision mitigation braking system, why it won’t go away and needs to be deselected every time i start the car )

On the ITS, you can select the distance in the infotainment. It's less annoying when set to "short" instead of medium or long.

Don't know if you have that option on the CTR, but worth looking.

You can do the same on the CTR. I set mine to "short" the 2nd day I had the car, and it very rarely pop up now.

Is there any option, through the OBD or computer settings, to keep it fixed so I don’t have to deselect it every time I start the car? Also, since my CTR FL5 is the American version, I can’t set it to Celsius. Does it require European programming?

I guess now I know it actually has collision mitigation braking. Mine has flashed at me but I don't think it's ever intervened. Can't be turned off for govt rules and insurance stipulations.

On the other hand, my Subaru brakes when I'm getting out of a parallel parking spot or even reversing into a spot. 😩

Mine is set to "short". Rarely alerts and has never puts the brakes on. I don't brake aggressively around town though.

Agreed. If the alert is still constantly coming on while set to "short" driving around town, I think OP needs to change his driving habits, IMHO.
