Link not working
I linked you to a private conversation, my apologies. Here's the text:

Here's the video that discusses the JDM Shift Boot. It's not a step-by-step tutorial; however, if you are handy/resourceful, it's not too difficult. A skilled technician at a reputable shop could also knock this out relatively quickly if you don't want to deal with it. At around the 5:05 mark, he discusses but does not show what needed to be done to get it to work. The comment about "creative engineering" refers to the attachment points of the JDM Shift Boot on the USDM frame. They don't all line up and you will need to perform some trimming. I also suggest using new staples. Anyhow, once you have both parts in your hand and you get to disassembling you'll immediately see the RHD vs. LHD "issue". I posted about it with a few photos in Post #298 of the CTR Initial Mods thread.

I'm pleased to say Sebring never disappoints!!

Extremely happy with how the car performed as well, no overheating issues even with the 90+ degree weather. In addition, for those of you who were asking, the Type S ADS module worked to perfection to absorb all the bumps and in my opinion is a no brainer mod. Btw I held off on installing the rear sway bar as I wanted to see the effects from just installing the Type S ADS module. I had the suspension set to comfort mode all day and it was perfect!!!

Please enjoy the following photos from the day and onboard videos:

How not to do a Point-By
Stumbled upon this clip of me chasing down an old Ferrari Race Car. The driver of the Ferrari gave me a point-by while exiting turn 5 however, he proceeded to accelerate as I was trying to complete the pass. Eventually he conceded right before the braking zone, which at that point I was off-line going into turn 6.

In other news, I have a track day signed up for the 31st of August at Homestead Miami Speedway. I have also been in talks with a local Instagram Type R group to schedule a Type R meet at the track. There will be no fee to spectate and it will be a chill meet-up at the track.

Some Small Updates and Track Prep
Got off my lazy ass and did the JDM shift boot swap. As mentioned by others yes, the boot frame is very different from the USDM cars. I snapped a couple of photos of the process and the differences between them. Overall, not that hard of an install just need to be patient on removing the staples of each shift boot.

In addition to the shift boot install, I got my car prepared for the next couple of track days coming up for me. Given my Project Mu's had about 4 track days on them and they had about 15% life left, I decided to scoop up the Paragon R5 (Aka Winmax W5) pads along with the titanium shims. I also bled the brake fluid with some fresh Castrol SRF and re-taped my wheel weights with some AC insulation tape. I highly recommend to tape your weights with some type of heat insulation if you're planning on taking your car to track. It's very common to see them flying off during a track day due to increase temps. Enjoy the following install pics I snapped.

I really like the Paragon R5 Pads!!
As promised went to the track this past weekend. I pulled dual duty, instructed and drove. I had a blast out there, only let down were the tires. They have seen quite a few track days and daily driving miles so they were not up to par. Nonetheless, I made the best of it and enjoyed trying to stay with the fast guys in the Advance group. They are no Point by's in this group and I can pass anywhere.

Here's a video of a full session with commentary so you can laugh at my dumb comments...

Does the R5 squeak at every stop light?
