It looks like some company branded these in the US. Some clips are on the posting. I still haven't installed mine. It's been 90 fricken degrees on the weekends still.
It sounds good when warm, but the cold startup sounds awful.
@a c i d.f l y how has the exhaust and the valve controller held up? Do you have any pics of the tips on the car? Does it use the OEM controller? Thanks for any input!
It took over a year sitting in my garage, but I finally got it installed. @ceesexhaust titanium exhaust and @privatelabelmfg front pipe installed by @hd_motorsportstx yesterday. The PLM front pipe is of exceptional quality.
However, this exhaust system has construction and assembly problems, mostly due to being delivered overseas, such as malformation in one of the exhaust tip headers. It's difficult to lineup the tips and clamp them without crushing the pipes. The resonator pipe had a small dent, and the welds are also subpar (putting it mildly), essentially melted together. But it's titanium, and it *does* sound nice. It's certainly louder than stock, and needs a couple of months of soot to soften up the tinniness. And to burn off the sealant and fresh metal.
I still need to run the wiring for the valve system, but the most challenging part is now complete. Even without the valve, the low-end performance is improved, but is quickly stifled by the closed valve at the top. I'm also scared to hear just how violently loud it is going to be with the center pipe opened up. While it's not too obnoxious, you can certainly hear me coming and going now, and I can tell what gear I'm in without the robot noise maker. Time will tell if I can handle the volume.
Here we go. It's honestly incredibly understating the volume compared to real life. The actual sound is quite nice, but it is several decibel scales louder in person.
