Hmmm, even if the O-Ring failed, how did the filter spin off? Is it a case that the filter was only hand tightened? For the S2000 there have been many cases of the oil filter coming off, the usual cause was because the filter was hand tightened and not torqued to spec.
Since I bought the car, I've bought a few things for it; I'll update my build again soon. In the meantime, my friend did some light painting and I wanted to share it, since it's Christmas themed.
🎄😀 Merry Christmas FL5 Fam!
Hello FL5 Fam,
I’ve been a Honda fan for a long time. It helps that some of my best friends growing up are also into Hondas. I had three buddies with DC2 Type R’s back in the day and one of them still has his.
Back in 2007 I bought my first S2000. A 2007 Silverstone AP2 that I picked up in...
It probably won't be that hard. I'd imagine the fit should be excellent. If you attempt yourself, you can follow this post from an FK8, where someone installed heated seats.
Oops, missed that!
The Conti's are a good choice, as is the AS4. If you don't need all-seasons and don't need the performance of the super 200s, the ECS02s is another good choice.
I bought Spoon Springs on Friday, still sitting in the box in my garage. I'm busy the next couple of nights, I'll measure (if I remember :p ) later this week. Just the fronts?
My PRL CF inlet works with the stock box. Note that I bought it used and I also have the HVI (not installed yet) so I'm not sure which hose it came with.
After lowering, I'm probably going with hardrace arms (rubber) for the rear and ball joints for the front. I think I'll try for -3F and -2.5 rear for the road and track!
