Canadian dealer asked what colour Type R I want

I had my deposit in day after Type R was announced, and there is still one more person ahead of me... Biggest Honda Dealer maybe in W. Canada and they've only received 3 so far. I'm fifth, so I guess next year...

I feel ya. I've had my deposit in before it was actually released. Dealer has received 1/3 so far and I've turned down 2 ITS deliveries so far. I've set a hard limit that Im taking the MY25 ITS car once it comes if the CTR doesnt arrive by then, done playing games.

Same spot I was in. Hopefully you get either one before the summer ends so at least you can enjoy way you should.

From what I gather there are more Type Rs sitting on dealer lots in the US right now than the whole 3 year allocation of cars for Canada. Honda Canada really screwed up.

Deal sheet says 2024.
I had a choice of SGP and CW.
There are some mandatory things, protection package, front ppf, mats/trunk tray, tire/rim warranty.

Still waiting to meet with them lol.

Highly recommend everyone to avoid servicing your car there as they will joyride it and unplug your dash cams.

I honestly don't know! I don't know if the dealer made a mistake or because I put in my deposit when the Type R was released but I didn't question it. I've also been with this dealer for like 20 years. Got my S2000 from them. They were great. Didn't push any extras. I just added the Alcantara steering wheel and may add the red shift knob later.

I must say I've been super fortunate. Even the Casio Type R watch I managed to get that for MSRP when you guys posted about it. I googled it and some watch store at Union station just happened to have one.

I wish I was this lucky with everything.

Id say but I don't want to get anyone in trouble if it was a mistake. I got it for $51,300

I do know they had 5 allocations and I was #3 and the others are spoken for.
