Id say but I don't want to get anyone in trouble if it was a mistake. I got it for $51,300
I do know they had 5 allocations and I was #3 and the others are spoken for.
I must say I've been super fortunate. Even the Casio Type R watch I managed to get that for MSRP when you guys posted about it. I googled it and some watch store at Union station just happened to have one.
I wish I was this lucky with everything.
I honestly don't know! I don't know if the dealer made a mistake or because I put in my deposit when the Type R was released but I didn't question it. I've also been with this dealer for like 20 years. Got my S2000 from them. They were great. Didn't push any extras. I just added the Alcantara...
Picking this badboy up on Saturday. Had my pick between this and the DE5. I held out and excited to get it. Managed to get it under MSRP. Got it for the 2023 price. @RUNN1N

Got a call 2 weeks ago for a GR Corolla Championship Edition in white for $59840 plus tax. I turned it down.
Got the call from Acura last week on my choice between a silver or white DE5 at MSRP. I turned it down.
And yesterday I got the call for a Rallye Red FL5 at MSRP that's...
you’re absolutely right. I don’t even track my cars. Trust me I know I’m overthinking this. I’m driving my wife bananas watching YouTube videos at night.
I think I just like everything about the FL5 with the DE5 exhaust and tuning. For $5k Canadian it feels like you’re getting a lot.
Maybe...
Thanks for the all the input. But of all the videos I’ve seen. Performance wise where does the FL5 have an edge as the track vehicle? I’ve heard some people say tighter steering than others saying otherwise.
The dampers seem like they are too stiff even for the track.
So I finally saw a black ITS in the showroom and it was most likely was the color (black), or that it was sitting next to a TLX Type S, a new and old NSX, and S2000 but it really didn’t stand out - I actually walked to the TLX thinking it was the lntegra.
The back and the triple exhaust look...
@RUNN1N and @Azkyrie
It means a lot you guys taking the effort to write a response. It’s helping a lot. I was certain I wanted the Type R. Then it was the Type S. But you guys are right I really do need to see both in person and try them out. It’s a bit more difficult to try to pull that off...
Thanks so much for the answer. I guess I have to ask. Which did you end up with?
The driving experience is what means the most to me in the end. Is the biting point different between the two cars?
I’m in the similar position, next on the list for both. In Canada it’s just a $5k cdn difference between the two.
For those that have driven both.
- is the clutch lighter in the ITS? I don’t like a super light clutch. I had the S2000 and that’s my favorite car ever.
- do you think the tech...
