Gonna run front tint too? ?. I like that the glass is already 70% from the factory.
I’m not planning to tint this car. But its just me. Hehe

Really? I’m not seeing the 70%. I’m currently getting 50 front and 5 in the rear done.
I agree. But not knowledgeable about tints as i never have one lol.
Congrats!!
I’ve been running no front plate for 2 years and I’m still good ?

f that front plate and roll ?
This comment made my ball upgrade from steel to carbon fiber. Lol ?

YESSIR! ???

There’s a mention on the window itself saying the light transmission is greater than, or equal to 70%. I guess it could be brighter than 70% tint from the factory. If my math is mathing, your 50% front tint combined with a 70% front factory tint equates to around a 35% outcome.

Ah okay, looks pretty good! It’s actually not as dark. Front tint is illegal here but I think I’ll be fine. But I see what you mean, after you mentioned I looked and I did notice a slight tint. I’d say maybe more of 80% but def some tint to it.

But the 5% in the rear def feels dark now :p

Nice! I think I’ll go with 70% and 50% and try to land somewhere around 50% and 35% outcome.

This sounds similar to what @sam3r_11 talked about before he received his car. I mean, it's a good thing that it's there, but I would hate that to be the reason why it's hard to obtain one.

Yeah although my dealer is fairly small because small city (Thunder Bay) they still sold it to me when I am not local and out of town... It comes down to building that relationship with the dealership and how the dealership is to begin with, if they have integrity and they are decent human beings or just crooks who care about money... they were afraid I was a flipper and wanted to make me sign a waiver but never happened... I also heard that there are people out there who are making a living out of flipping cars... they basically put a deposit down and then either sell their car or sell their allocation for a quick 10-15k ... it's just sad to see people like that exist to take advantage of these things... and the problem they think they are smart and built a career out of practices like this...

I totally agree, it is crap practice, but at the end of the day it comes down to the consumer. If we pay 20k over msrp, in a sense we are creating that market. People will always take advantage of these situations.

We just gotta use restraint as consumers and refuse to pay over. I would have never bought this car over msrp, not even 5$ over. That was just something I decided going into this from day one.

I agree, and I have been keeping an eye on some of the "used" FL5s going for low to mid 70s ... they are still sitting there not sold and I hope they stay that way and force dealers to start coming down... the US already came down... there has been a number of new FL5s there going for MSRP
