I think you said you wanted the Spoon turbo earlier in the year. Is that one still on your short list?
The Spoon is just a rebranded MHI stage 2 turbo.

If you wanna go at JDM, then HKS TURBO !
It's just an MHi stage 2 with a different label, to be honest turbo upgrades are a waste of money if you dont plan to upgrade your fuel system. The stock turbo will pretty much make the same power as any drop-in turbo if the fuel system is stock.

Full Race HPFP and Hondata 1530cc Injectors are a must for anything if you're looking to make anything over 430whp and anything past 510whp should have an upgraded in-tank LPFP.

I actually have an MHI stage 2 and all of these things that I have yet to install. For the right price I would be willing to sell if anyone is interested.

A big turbo is the last thing I need; however, I'm in to see which direction you take your car. Love the content on your channel btw, keep up the great work!

I'd have to argue with that one. With a turbo upgrade such as the 27WON Kuro you get a much more usable power curve and you can make ~425whp on 93 octane compared to ~380whp with the factory turbo. The improved curve is as important, if not more important than the difference in peak power. (all while maintaining the factory fuel system)

I agree with you, my car has a Kuro turbo on it now with the stock fuel system. My statement is in reference to the average FL5 owner. Most will not see the point of spending the extra money for a ~10% in peak power or improvement in the mid range. You've seen it yourself most are concerned with what is the "best" intake, downpipe, exhaust, lowering springs, wheel specs etc.

I can agree that a turbo upgrade is a bigger step than the average owner will take.

As I am sure you would agree, I'd also say that upgraded turbocharger selection is also very subjective, depending on the end goal. There is no "best turbocharger" for every application.
