Was driving today and ran 2nd-3rd WOT to merge on the highway. Had AC on blast and holy shit the motor is significantly louder.

Is this just a me thing?

Can’t say I’ve ever noticed the car being louder with the AC on but after thinking about it, I don’t think I’ve ever had the AC off ? Florida life it’s always hot.

Gonna run the car with it off and see if I notice a difference in sound

Same here in Melbourne Australia. The drive home today will probably be the first time I'll have driven the car without AC. Keen to see if it's something I notice.

Tuned with a motor mount, AC adds noise and vibration totally expected and normal.
