Here in Melbourne Australia, the pricing seems to be holding. I hope I've not cursed it by mentioning it.
2-3yr old cars are apparently selling for near list price, and they sell reasonably quickly.
Let's see if it holds.
I had to pass by the Hoda dealership I bought mine from and there were a couple of new TypeR models being collected that day in pristine condition.
The feeling of driving it off the lot is good isn't it? Enjoy, and I hope it brings you as many smiles as mine has!
It's been a consideration for me. I always drive in comfort suspension setting, even in individual mode. Everything else it just a bit too much.
I'd need to see if they're available at a decent price, the Australian dollar being what it is, but I'd appreciate being able to make use of sport and...
Same here in Melbourne Australia. The drive home today will probably be the first time I'll have driven the car without AC. Keen to see if it's something I notice.
+1 on the FX3D Rock Guards front and rear. I'm pretty happy with them.
I went with Dream Automotive 5part mat set. I'm happy with those too.
Enjoy the car, I'm still loving every second of owning it.
Welcome, and it's great seeing another SGP owner!
I got told to just drive the car and not worry about it at all.
For the first 1500 KMs I never went past 3500 rpm and never lugged the engine in a higher gear than needed.
Varying the rpms is recommended.
No need to change oil or fluids...
I'm running a Thinkware F200 (had it a while) and whilst it's fine for front and rear camera footage and is very discreet, it has an annoying alert every time it senses an incident. It just beeps as it looks to protect that footage.
With the suspension as firm as it is (even in comfort mode) if...
Whilst I would share if I had some, mine is stock so far and I expect I'll keep it that way. I just thought it's a popular category of modifications and would have been an option..
The only things I've done to my car has been.
1. Dream automotive red interior mats. The black stock Type R...
Sorry, I missed this. The tech at the dealership sat in the car with me and we swapped from mine to a showroom model.
No further investigation happened.
It's definitely present but hard to show as significantly different as it seems that they all have a similar sensation at the brake pedal.
I went back into the dealership to pick up some touch up paint and tried another car for the same feeling.
The showroom model had a similar sensation but it wasn't as pronounced if that makes sense. Swapping between them about 4 times to test and I had to really concentrate to feel it.
I'm...
Hi all,
I'm a recent owner of a SGP FL5 and very much enjoy the car. I've wanted a Type R ever since the original Civic back in the 90's.
One thing I've noticed with the car is what can only be described as a "knocking" sound and feeling as I apply the brake pedal.
The brakes work just fine...
