  1. Bummed so far with FL5 aftermarket exhaust sound

IMO, Remus sounds the best. Most if not all of these aftermarket exhausts are way too raspy and just make more noise for the sake of it - but the Remus sounds actually tasteful. Unfortunately it can be pretty hard and expensive to source so I opted for the front res delete and am pretty happy...
  2. Camber Plates with springs

dumb question, but better safe than sorry - on stock suspension with the strut tower pins pulled, my speed shop was able to get -2.1 degrees of camber up front. should that still have clearance for any lowering spring setup?
  3. FL5 interior dash piece damage

wow. where is this from? and is it an overlay or does it replace the whole piece?
  4. Brake fluid leaking from bleeder

couldn't tell you. i can dm them and see if they remember. but what exactly would that have to do with the leaking?
  5. Brake fluid leaking from bleeder

They are the ones that told me the torque spec was 10 lbft and that's what they followed. What could've happened before that, idk.... All I have are Craftsman 3/8 and 1/2 torque wrenches so maybe I'll have to get something smaller I agree on that last part. I truly think it could be some...
  6. Brake fluid leaking from bleeder

I did not do any of the work. All I've done so far clean the area. I don't even have the right crowfoot adapter for my torque wrench so I ordered that now. Once I get that I can then verify the torque spec. I contacted the shop yesterday to see if they can check it out. And they informed me...
  7. Brake fluid leaking from bleeder

In August I had a local Honda speed shop flush my factory brake fluid with Castrol SRF in preparation for my track day later that month. After the track day, I noticed a slight trail of brake fluid running down the caliper. I contacted the shop and we both agreed that it was perhaps some...
  8. FL5 interior dash piece damage

To be fair, it was one of my detailers henchmen. The main guy himself is great. But every time one of his guys touches the car, some corners are cut. With that said I did confront him and even told him my experiences of when his guys are working on my car. He said he'll think of a remedy
  9. FL5 interior dash piece damage

I agree to an extent. My exterior is thrashed from all the canyon and track driving. This is different because these scratches weren't caused by normal use nor was I the one to cause them. It's annoying to go to my detailer (they take care of cars) to have this happen.
  10. FL5 interior dash piece damage

Given the nature of the surface it's on, my detailer said it might cause more harm than good
  11. FL5 interior dash piece damage

In that case I'll see what I can do. I also wanted to take this opportunity to get an actually good looking overlay but I don't think that's possible. These glossy carbon ones are kind of ugly imo...
  12. FL5 interior dash piece damage

Honestly it's too late now. This happened a few weeks ago and I expressed my concerns to him and he offered a free maintenance wash and that's about it. I wish I thought about asking if he could replace it when we talked. It's just now starting to really bug me and I'm realizing how much of a...
  13. FL5 interior dash piece damage

Hi all, My detailer scratched TF out of my interior dash piece, equally ironic and disappointing. This is just one of the areas but the damage spans almost the whole length of the piece. And I've been thinking about ways I can fix it or at least cover it up. The OEM dash piece is like over...
  14. FL5 - Flywheel chatter at idle?

i started observing this at 250 miles on the odo so i'm gonna say it's normal
  15. Aftermarket Windshield

I get that, but I heard those aftermarket windshields can be finicky with the safety systems. But also some of us are just more partial towards OEM. Type R windshield is clearly different than base so I’d like to maintain that. With that said, my windshield did have a shit ton of pitting before...
  16. 2026 FL5 Speculation Thread

Good point. People want to feel better about their purchase. Of course it’s cool to think about owning a limited production future-collector’s car. Meanwhile, I’m thinking about if my shit gets totaled while also being a limited run, I don’t want to be SoL with inflated prices or rare parts...
  17. Aftermarket Windshield

It gets exhausting. But escalate it as high as you can. I worked my way up to a senior auditor. And he was the only one that was able to send my argument to some other team, which they would deem whether aftermarket was truly comparable to OEM. Seems like they didn’t bother doing the research...
  18. Aftermarket Windshield

I never posted this update. But my SA at my local dealership is amazing and he worked some numbers because he knew I was in a pinch. I ended up only paying $10 dollars additional outside of my deductible
