I’ve had hybrid detent springs for 15,000 miles now and love them.

Debating on whether to keep them on or swap to OEM when I install my Acuity short shifter.

Have not read about to many people running Hybrid detent springs and the Acuity short shifter.
I put in the Hybrid springs after I installed Acuity's Stage 2 components. And I've appreciated the even more direct feel when changing gears as well as the more pronounced return to center force. The initial post relaying Acuity's view had me concerned. So I reached out. Now I'm not as concerned.

With the Acuity adjustable short shifter assembly I do not think the detent springs are needed and would probably say to go back to OEM, but if you used something like their Stage 2 kit with the upgraded parts for the OEM shifter the detent springs can be helpful.

Probably something to try out when you get it installed. Can always easily change the detent springs out if its not to your liking.

@ashmostro over on the Integra forums had this to say:

Decided to give the Hybrid Racing transmission detent springs another chance, with a catch.

Previously, I tried out installing just the lateral spring to tighten up the side to side slop and didn't like it. All it did was make the diagonal shifts feel less fluid.

Today, I tried out just installing the longitudinal spring as I've been feeling like I want a bit more initial resistance when going into gear, and then a more pronounced click once fully engaged.

The single spring accomplished exactly that! Each mod I've made to the car has incrementally made it more joyful to drive. I'm happy with this one!
