+1 That’s what I did, that 12V paired with a high V capacity adapter gives more than enough power to allow the MagSafe reach its full power delivery.

Also, finally having OEM magnetics that are strong enough to keep the phone from flying while taking turns.

There is a seller on Etsy that sells basically the same for awhile. Pretty good since it uses whatever MagSafe charger puck you want - the newly announced MagSafe goes beyond the 15W that I have.

Yep, saw that and think theirs looks great, but why spend $23 when I can use my $800 printer, a kilo of filament for test prints, and multiple hours over the course of a week tweaking mine to look “just ok?”
