For some reason I don't believe this story. Even if it was an LE. I highly doubt they got 2 of them.

The problem is that I live in an affluent, rapidly growing city in the south. People will pay whatever price for whatever they want.

Further, the only dealerships that look like real dealerships around me are Ford and Chevy. All the European and Japanese dealerships look like used car lots. That particular Honda Dealer’s main attractions were a GT350, a Camaro SS, and 22 VW GTI. They can’t get new cars and the new cars they do receive are already bought for whatever price they decide to sell them.

We still have 2021 LE on Autotrader in Canada for 89k ;p looks like noone wants it here.

That’s the price you pay for a collection car with only like 5km of PDI mileage on it, not 300km.

Funny enough, they had told me 25k and wouldn't budge. I said no and now they keep wanting me to contact them but even 15k is pushing it too far. Most dealers are already incredibly greedy and often lie, no reason to deal with one that takes it step further.

I had my wife call instead and they said 25k ADM. It's robbery at this point.

Oh did you call again and see what the ADM is? I'm interested to see if they sell differently based on male vs female voice.

And if they do, record it all, threaten a lawsuit, and they might offer you MSRP to shut you up

No way, I think end of November, if you don't mind paying ridiculous prices, you will be able to take possession.

I think in Canada maybe January? I'll gladly wait until March, don't really want to take it in the winter but wouldn't say no if I could.

i totaled a brand new wrx last year and have been waiting for this car forever. i turned down a brand new boost blue at 44 and regret it. could have made 10k. but 50k for a civic type r is insanity. you can get an s3 or m235

My Golf R got totalled this July, I had new car replacement policy on it so overall I didn't end up too badly off. It got hit while it was parked on the street. No more parking cars on the street for me, driveway only.

So I was very happy to find out that a new CRT was coming.

Agreed but not all people want the same thing out of a car. Price point is a big factor for people as well. For them it’s not always about best of breed, sometimes car class is a big factor given the dollars spent.
