For all my ATL folks, Ed Voyles texted me a few minutes ago and said they have 2 5K nonrefundable deposits for the 2 they are getting. Not sure if it's cap but they said they are only getting 2 and don't know the exact date yet...
How do they know how many they are getting?

Canadians don't have marks ups? Lol wut? @RoidRage ?
We don't have ADMs, we have dealer Addons or packages required to be paid for on top of MSRP for in demand vehicles.

Not all dealerships require or do this, but similar to the US, Canadian dealers may not sell in demand vehicles to interested parties unless they meet a specific profit amount on said vehicle.

Funny enough, they had told me 25k and wouldn't budge. I said no and now they keep wanting me to contact them but even 15k is pushing it too far. Most dealers are already incredibly greedy and often lie, no reason to deal with one that takes it step further.

I have seen markups in Canada, but a lot easier to find honest dealerships. When I was shopping around, kia stinger for example was marked up 4k over MSRP, but I did contact mulple Honda dealerships and they pretty much all said they will stick to MSRP.

In Canada, you can't sell over MSRP (it's technically illegal to ask or advertise a price over MSRP).

You can only be asked to buy add-ons. Every dealer sells @ MSRP. Final selling price all in is where it changes.

I believe Canada can bend this law by registering the car and selling as used.

You have to assign it to a owner (purchase it on paper) drive it a few hundred miles and then "trade it in" and then dealer can sell it used.

Its kind of a dooshy take on it considering its hard to add specific downforce at those levels.
yeah are people expecting 900 pounds of downforce from a wing on an economy sports sedan? :p

give it to the franchise owners son for few weeks and for him and his friends to rag it out and charge another 5k.
