So even though I already have an FL5 reserved, I'm still on the hunt for less than $5K adm.
Just want to remind this thread to look for inventory via Honda's inventory search:

I found inventory not listed in either github or MotoringObsession finder tools since they pull inventory in transit or in stock.. I believe. I called the dealers and confirmed they have the allocations, but no VIN numbers. They're still accepting deposits without vin #. These allocations won't arrive for another 2-3 months.

Same here. Lowest I've negotiated is $8k ADM and I'm still not biting. I called about 25 dealerships in CA and only one matched the $8k ADM. One of these has been sitting in the showroom since January.

It's encouraging to see these sitting on the lots. The salespeople can say "yeah these are selling for $20k ADM within 4 hours of delivery", but that story isn't lining up with what I'm seeing!

I'm still in negotiations with them so I'll keep it quiet. They're in Orange County, believe it or not. On top of that, there's another dealer that is offering $8k ADM that they're trying to beat.

I am taking it with a grain of salt, though. It's not $8k until signatures happen. I do have a trade-in so they're incentivized to make a deal with me.

I used the same tactic to get the absolute lowest mortgage rate. I called a bunch of different lenders, got quotes from each of them, then presented the lowest bid to all of the others -- they will all compete for your business so the rates keep dropping. Takes about 2 weeks of back and forth but I ended up with a 2.6% rate.

Wow, surprised they are in SoCal. Seems like a pretty damn good deal for that area...

Yeah. But I'm good at twisting arms when it comes to negotiations.

As a matter of fact, as of this morning 389 new Type Rs have been added across the nation, out of 545 total. Supply goes up, demand stays about the same = pricing goes down!

Keep applying that pressure!

Curious as well. It showed my car and VIN inbound to my dealer two weeks ago. As of yesterday, it doesnt show anything going to my dealer but my dealer says its coming
