Honda knows engines more than anyone you're going to speak to on the internet. If you're truly curious just send your oil for an analysis when it gets down to 30% or so and get an informed report of what the state of the oil is- you'll find that it's just fine. Nobody has had an engine failure...

Definitely don't hide that gauge. This car has a common issue with the plastic coolant reserve tank where it cracks and you lose coolant and the tank needs to be replaced. You definitely wanna catch it soon when it happens and seeing higher temps via that gauge is a good way to identify it if...

+1 definitely suggest routine rotation of tires and if you suspect something is off, get an alignment done. The car definitely has a camber that will result in uneven wear if you do not rotate the tires often enough

The Type R is a very low production car where demand is far higher than supply. They have 0 issues selling these even though the dealers mark them up 10-15k. If they officially announced 25 is the last year, that dealer markup would certainly go up.

For the FK8, despite being rated as having different power figures in different regions, it was confirmed that the FK8 has the exact same stock tune worldwide. I wouldn't be surprised if this is the same for FL5 but I haven't seen confirmation one way or the other.
