If I’m buying a car I buy what I want with no compromise. Options or not if the Type R is being marketed at $71-$75k I don’t mind spending a little more money for the car I want.
Instead with Honda you wait months searching for a dealer that hasn’t loaded a Type R with mud flaps, door edge guards, door handle protectors, trim lighting, footwell lighting, and every other ugly/unnecessary add on. I’d rather order a car to spec waiting a few months over haggling with...
Texas, however I’m not looking at poverty spec cars nor would I ever be interested in one.
Why would I make a purchase when I haven’t decided what I want to do?
I test drove an IS500 and RS5 yesterday and boy do they pull hard. I’ll likely get one of those cars if I can’t snag an FL5 for MSRP. I’m sure the dealers would love a multi Honda trade in deal.
The CF wing looks great but it’s a let down there’s no other CF bits from aside from stick on CF for the interior. I would be nice if the trim pieces were molded from actual CF.
Theres about 20k FK8s in the US….. Even if it were only 8k that’s still limited when taking into account total Civic build numbers and total population of the US….
I appreciate the willingness of people to be beta testers. I personally never purchase a first model year car so they can work the kinks out with updates in the following model years.
Inflation or not car prices will keep rising because people have no problem financing at $800 or $900 a month for 72 months. Amazingly 19% of people are willing to pay over MSRP for a car LMFAO.
For car manufacturers it’s easy monthly revenue because the majority of people are financially...
I clicked the link thinking it was going to be some good good like JDM headlamps only to discover it’s footwell and trim lighting. ?
Good luck with the install.
Yes, everyone knew at release there would be people willing to sign papers being $20k or $30k in the red. However, anyone posting a terrible financial decision online should expect feedback. If they don’t want feedback don’t post the numbers.
Personally, I find it impressive there’s a good...
That would make sense. I can’t wait to see. I managed to find a post from CivicX showing videos of the same driving on the same track running a little slower in the FL5. I updated my original post if you’re curious.
